I made these yesterday for a birthday party. I used Digiorno shredded 3 cheese mix and garlic powder; I also used parchment paper (less cleanup). I noticed moisture around the bottoms of the rolls when they were done so I set them on a cookie rack to cool before packing them to take to work. These were great and everyone loved them though I did think they tasted a lot better hot out of the oven ... had to try one. Thank you for sharing. Fixed my moisture problem ... I rinsed them the night before and put them in a ziplock bag with some paper towels. Left them in the refrigerator until about 15 minutes before I needed them.

I couldn't wait to make these for New Year's Eve! And they didn't disappoint =) I got 20 strips of crescent roll out of this by cutting the 10 strips in half one more time. Maybe my "Lil smokies" were smaller than the authors, but if I had left the recipe as is, this would have been too much dough for my mini-dogs.

Born and raised in East Texas. Single mom with 2 boys. NOT a great cook, so I like easy recipes with simple ingredients. I almost always follow a recipe exactly, unless I'm leaving out something I don't like. Sign in my kitchen actually says...WONDER KITCHEN...if anything's cooking, it's a WONDER! You can be sure that a recipe I post here is EASY.
